A Wild Day for the Boys!

The Boys wanted to get out in the sun- but as soon as we started walking the park, they both started to complain about all their aches and pains..lol- so we went to a place where they could use some stuff they got at vacation bible school.

at Fellowship Church- they are having vacation bible study and the SonSurf Beach Party is on!  They love it!

Today Ty and Lew Got their Brand New Library Cards

Now they are already to do and borrow all the things that can be used at the Allen County Public Library- our areas greatest treasure!

Diary of Wimpy Kid: Roderick Rules!

We started off the day with mawmaw taking a walk with Lew and then she fell down- so she decided to rent Diary of Wimpy Kid:  Roderick Rules!   Ty told mawmaw he was glad he did not have an older brother after what he had read about Roderick ---

Mawmaw spent the day with her leg up iced and in pain!  

Out of the Rain!

We have been walking Foster Park each morning.  This morning we just made it before the big downfall!  Now we are reading for the Library Summer Reading Program and watching cartoons!

Movie and Popcorn Day-but First Picnic at Waynedale Park

Friday is movie and popcorn day- but first the boys had a picnic at Waynedale Park!

We all had a very good breakfast and then decided to take a long walk through Foster Park here in Fort Wayne- it was beautiful out this morning and luckily we finished our walk just as it was starting to rain!


By the time we were done maw maw said her left knee felt like it was caved in and she had a strange hitch in her hipbone.  Weird!

Start off Thursday Morning with A Nutritious Meal!

We are having a very healthy meal this morning- mawmaw thinks we should always eat grains, fruits and veggies- and a sausage biscuit now and then!!

Resting Boys- Wore them OUT Yesterday!

Yesterday was a busy day for the boys, they are both worn out today.  Mawmaw is also worn out, she went to bed with very sore knees last night and had a hard time getting around this morning.  It is a pain getting old!

First Day of Summer - OUT of School- YAY!

We spend every summer with out mawmaw- she takes us to a lot of places because she says she thinks it is good for us to be outside.  We think it is because we drive her nuts in the house.  Here are some of the things she had us do already this summer!

1)  Walked all the way around her apartment complex
2)   Went and tried to find a place called Camp Scott- it is supposed to be a nature preserve.  -it wasn't open or maw maw couldn't find the right way to get in, we haven't figured that out yet.
3)   Mawmaw took us to Foster Park and let us play on the stuff at the playground.  Then she said we should walk by the river.

4)  We went to the waterpark at Waynedale Park- and went back to mawmaw's to eat lunch


We will write more tomorrow- oh, and maw maw and mommy came up with the idea of having us write in journals each day- later!
